Stream Restoration/Bank Stabilization/ Erosion Control
Stream restoration using bioengineering techniques is the latest technology. We supply and install all of these materials including coir (coconut) fiber biologs, coir blankets and mats, wattles, live stakes and cuttings. We also provide all related excavation, sediment removal, rock structure construction, gabion installation and rock mattress installation.
Representative project experience:
A. Restored a Stream that had been Contaminated and Remediated at a Superfund Site in Srewsbury, Massachusetts.
B. Installed Gabions and Bioengineering Material for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as part of the Mon Valley Expressway Project.
C. Installed Forested Floodplain Vegetation on 5 Miles of the Roanoke River Banks, Roanoke, Virginia.
D. Installed Biologs and Planted a Tidal Inlet at a Hazardous Waste Site in Salisbury, Maryland.
